Drawing on more than three decades of work on Arm® architectures, MOVE.B has turned years of field debugging into a product of its own. ChipTrace® brings the CoreSight™ trace infrastructure already present in your silicon within reach of your own firmware, giving engineering teams visibility into production binaries that conventional debug sessions simply cannot provide. It reflects the same practical expertise our trainers and consultants bring to processor architectures, and the same long-standing relationships with Arm®, NXP® and Lauterbach that underpin our training and consulting work.
ChipTrace® is an embedded library that programs the Arm® CoreSight™ blocks directly from the target. Capture runs at core speed, with no instrumentation of the observed code and nothing attached to the board while the system executes.
Our Trace Solution Includes:
- Non-Intrusive Instruction Trace: full-speed ETM capture.
- Target-Side Configuration: direct register programming from your own firmware, with no proprietary hardware in the capture path.
- Flexible Capture Paths: internal ETF buffers or ETR capture into system memory, sized to your application.
- Multicore Correlation: a shared global timestamp aligning every trace source across clusters.
- TRACE32® Integration: PRACTICE scripts for extraction and decoding, with automated regression tooling.
- SoC Enablement: porting and validation on your CoreSight™-equipped Arm® device.
