Learning Objectives

This course aims to enable participants to design, verify or debug USB2 IPs and links. Participants get a detailed understanding of the USB 2.0 protocol. The attendees will learn about USB2 hardware and software implementation. The following class specifications will also be studied: HID, mass storage and audio.
Prerequisites and related courses

Experience of a digital bus is mandatory
Hands-on

A USB 2.0 analyzer from Teledyne-Lecroy is used to capture and display USB2 traffic to facilitate the understanding of the protocol.
